Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts is seeking a top-notch Outdoor Program Manager to enhance its mission of building girls of courage, confidence and character. Key Responsibilities
1. Provides opportunities for girls to grow and develop by planning and directing outdoor program activities utilizing council-owned facilities.
2. Coordinates with community based programming staff to develop outdoor program opportunities to support membership recruitment and retention.

4. 11. Collaborates with outside agencies, colleges/universities, and professional organizations to strengthen council outdoor program.

Qualification/Education/Experience:
1. BS/BA in related field with 2-4 years of experience or two years of administrative/ program experience working with disabled/elderly adults in community setting Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing and ability to use good judgment.
2. Must have basic computer knowledge.
3. Sensitivity to the needs of the population.
4. High energy level, superior interpersonal skills and ability to function in a team atmosphere.
5. Must hold a valid drivers? license. Must have access to an operational and insured vehicle and be willing to use it to transport consumers.

-Prospective employee will be responsible for transporting no more than 8 school-age children in a YMCA van at a time. The stops will be at East Boston, Chelsea, Winthrop, and Revere schools.
